Above is a quick overview of cat and dog outcomes for some of our California shelters. Reports obtained for agencies like Ventura County Animal Regulation combine adoption and rescue totals and report them as adoptions. The category "Other" is the sum total of outcomes not falling into any of the major outcome categories (i.e. animals reported missing, stolen, escaped, died, etc...)
What the above graph is showing is the percentage of ALL reported cat and dog outcomes resulting in each of the outcome categories for a 12 month period. The actual totals for each outcome category are being shown for reference.
The following agencies are represented in the chart above:
- Merced: Merced County Animal Control
- VenturaCo: Ventura County Animal Regulation
- SBCO: San Bernardino County (not all jurisdictions)
- Kern: Kern County Animal Control
- LACACC: Los Angeles County Animal Care and Control
- LAAS: Los Angeles Animal Services
