ANIMAL_ID, SPECIES, BREED, SEX, AGE, IN_DATE, IN_SOURCE, INTAKE, IN_CONDITION, OUT_DATE, OUTCOME, OUT_REASON
and be provided electronically in an MS Excel file. Estimated time to complete this task is less than 2 hours.

  Letter FROM: Marcia Mayeda
  Request for animal records has been received. The Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control does not serve the County of Kern and doesn't have the records requested. Ack!! The request was modified from a previous Kern County request and I forgot to proof read what agency's records I was requesting. A new request is being typed up and sent out tomorrow.

  2005 Animal Records Received via email. Emailed Bob Ballenger to ask if it was possible to run another query for the same records and provide only the ANIMAL_ID and the SHELTER_ID. Matching the SHELTER_ID to records already received could be done from this end.

  "Once an animal leaves the shelter, the records go into our general data base, which does not distinguish between shelters and reports results department-wide, and that was the information sent to you."
  The question was asked of Bob Ballenger if the general data base being used was Chameleon.

  "Our agency uses Chameleon as its shelter database."
  Still don't know if the General Database used Chameleon. [ more to add about this ]
