The same list information is provided whether you choose to view photos or not. Choosing not to view photos allows for quicker access to the list and is easier for those on dial-up. A small clickable button is used instead of photos and when clicked, will display the animal photos in a separate window. Redlisted animals are shown in Red and have two (**) after the animal description. Animals that have been in the shelter longer than 30 days will display the number of days that animal has been in the shelter. The LAAS Disclaimer LAAS is not responsible for any modifications made to this list. This is the latest New Hope Alert. Animals displayed on this page are available to LAAS New Hope Partners free of charge. New Hope Adoptions include current vaccinations, any required spay/neuter surgery and a microchip. New Hope Partners pay only the $5.50 tax portion of any applicable Los Angeles City dog license if required. Animals displayed with the text in Red are most "At Risk" and most in need of being immediately adopted from the Center. Animals displayed with the text in Green are at less risk but still in need of your help. To adopt any New Hope animals, a New Hope Partner should either visit the Animal Care Center where the animal is located, or contact that Center's New Hope Coordinator, Center Manager or ACT Supervisor, to arrange for a telephonic adoption. To become a New Hope Partner, please contact Aaron Owen at aowen@ani.lacity.org.
For complete details about the New Hope Program, please contact Mr.
Owen or consult the New Hope Program documentation located at: If at any time an animal's injury or illness is determined by the Department's veterinary staff to be medically extensive or severe, that animal may be humanely euthanized for irremediable suffering without any prior notice. You can now search for an animal by using its specific Animal I.D. number. Please use the "Animal ID #" button on the homepage. If you have any questions regarding this feature, please contact the Webmaster at webmaster@ani.lacity.org. |
